During 1903, Picasso focused mainly on portraits: children, old people, maternity or family. His models are often his friends Luis Viloro, Sebastià Junyer-Vidal, the Soler family, Angel Fernandez de Soto, ... According to Zervos, he tries "to penetrate the human mystery." Our drawing, all realism and spontaneity, has certainly been made in front of the model.
